A few years ago I used to be that annoying "transmasc lesbians don't exist, this shit is harmful and invalidates both transmascs and lesbians" person, and now I'M the transmasc lesbian. Seems like the tables have turned, huh?
I've spent so many months, years, trying so hard to fit into these categories that I saw so many people talk about as if it were the definitive truth, and this shallow and simplistic vision seems to be gaining a lot of attention and traction here in Brazil. Isn't it ironic to free yourself from cisnormativity and heteronormativity and all these binary boxes to find yourself again trying to fit into other boxes and norms that don't actually describe your experience correctly? Because your experience with gender is so chaotic and confusing (as expected of a nonbinary identity, and even more so if you're neurodivergent too) that there's no simple way to describe it. Then when you find out what describes this, people say you can't identify yourself that way because two or more of your identities are "incompatible". I see people treating non-binarity as if it were an exact science, as if it were math, as if it were something simple and logical, as it is precisely the escape from what has been established in our society as the only two possible options, generating countless identities within a gray area outside this black and white vision, so of course it's something complex, abstract and subjective.
EDIT: One of my reasons for thinking this way was that I ignored that the transgender experience and the cisgender experience aren't and will never be equivalent. It's obvious that a cis man can't be a lesbian, but the same doesn't go for transmasc people, and I thought that admitting that was the same as being transphobic, denying the masculinity of transmascs, denying their male identity. I already had a debate on Twitter because people didn't want to admit that trans men and transmasc people in general can suffer misogyny and male chauvinism (as society can still see and treat us as women) because they also saw it as the same as saying transmasc people are women. The identity of trans people is a very complex experience that involves a series of factors that cis people will never experience. We cannot equate the trans experience with the cis experience.
I thought identifying as a butch lesbian was enough to describe my masculinity, but I realized that I felt like it didn't encompass everything I felt, I still felt like something was missing. Preventing and depriving myself of identifying with more explicit masculine identities was actually making me feel bad and dysphoric. So yeah, I've been avoiding identifying with male-aligned identities because I thought that would mean having to stop identifying as a lesbian, and I didn't want that, and I don't really feel like calling myself straight makes any sense.
I have a text in Portuguese talking about my experience as a butch lesbian, and I feel that now it also serves to describe my experience as a nonbinary transmasc (the part where I talk about not identifying with "traditional masculinity", but with a "different type", like "soft masculinity", is directly related to the fact that, in addition to being nonbinary, I don't identify as a man, I don't feel comfortable with the term "man", but rather with "boy"). I spent a few months wondering whether I was libramasculine or boyflux, and I ended up deciding that if I can't identify which one I am, maybe it makes more sense to just adopt both identities, maybe I am both then! I'm tired of trying to fit into supposed rules about being nonbinary. This is exactly how non-binarity shouldn't be. I'm supposed to feel free, not trapped again. My identity is my identity and that's nobody's business.

Ok, let's be honest, these two:

Are the bi4bi couple.
Also love the idea of them being t4t of some kind, with this iteration, to me, being Morticia as a nonbinary woman and Gomes a nonbinary man.

Being nonbinary and off multigender but like multigender ish (if you know what offgender is) is sick like I'm a nonbinary lesbian, I'm a lesboy, I'm a he/him lesbian, straight in like the %12 straight I guess, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a partner. A daughter, son, someone's child. A sister, brother, sibling. When I'm older I could be a wife, husband. Like I'm so sick dude.

Hey transmascs! I made a tumblr community for us!
It's for all transmasculine folks, regardless of presentation or how binary you are, whether you're out (even if you'll never be out), whether or not transition is something for you, and regardless of your agab (amab transmascs are welcome!)
You can't just apply to join like a normal website would have you do, so just leave a reply or comment requesting an invite.
Have a great day!

Hm, okay, so, yeah, that happened like, around 1 year ago but I still think about it. For context I'm a closeted nb boy
I needed clothes. My mother likes buying them in local stores and cheaper places, so we went to a fair that was happening at the public university in our town to get new clothes for me. I remember that at one point, I had to go to the bathroom with the stuff I've chosen to try it out since there was so changing room. But I don't usually go to the university so I had no idea of where the bathrooms were.
I wandered confused for a while, trying to remember the directions that the seller and my mom gave me, but I'm terrible with new places and locations. I decided to ask someone, or they came to me, I don't really remember, and asked where could I find the bathrooms.
The first thing they said back to me was: "Which bathroom are you the most comfortable in?"
These exact words. They didn't assume anything about me, nor did they think it'd be okay to lead me somewhere I could be in discomfort. I don't know if they managed to tell I was a closeted boy, if they do this do everybody or I do look really ambiguous and that was the most polite way they could find to guide me to the right bathrooms.
As I was really not passing that day and don't usually go to the man's bathroom, I said I'd like to go to the girl's, and just like that, they lead me there.
Even though I didn't find any clothes I was comfortable in, that litle interaction made my whole day.
I'm still grateful to that person, even though I'll probably never see them again, and even if I do, I probably won't remember their face.
Just a silly story.

— a general term for non-binary who are either exclusively or non-exclusively attracted to women.
In short, it can be described as NBLW

— общий термин для небинарных, которые испытывают либо исключительно, либо не исключительно влечение к женщинам.
Сокращено можно описать как НБЛВ
(небинарные любящие женщин)

[insert post talking in-depth about my gender identity and connection to femininity and feminine terms in relation to my gender and species specifically]
^^ keeping that because i thought it was funny lmao
idk
but yeah, ive been exploring my femininity a bit more again and really trying to get back to the level of comfort i was at before
i am transmasc nonbinary but i dont want to limit myself to masculinity and i love feeling pretty, i miss feeling pretty <3
and in exploring my femininity again, ive discovered something
in certain circumstances, with certain people, im fine with she/her pronouns, not as a frequent thing, but occasionally
im fine with she/her pronouns if its coming from little kids in public complimenting my hair/makeup/outfit/accessories, im fine with being called miss by elderly folks because i find it sweet, im fine with close friends calling me she every so often or as a part of a bit, im fine with referring to myself as she ✨️ because i think its funny and ironic ✨️
but if i am going to be she/her'd i dont want it to be with the attached expectation of comformity to the human societal standards and expectations for women
if im going to be called she, i dont want it to be by my maga conservative christian parents who have repeatedly said they wish we were back in pioneer times when women stayed home and raised kids and cooked and cleaned and that was all they did
if im going to be called her, i dont want it to be by my gramparents who, despite being accepting of me being trans, do still clearly view me as their granddaughter
if im going to be called she, i want it to be by people who understand that while they might be addressing me that way, i am not and will never be a woman or a lady. i am one of the girls where it applies (girls night, and other such things), i am she in the gay way, i am ma'am only if its "yes ma'am," i am a lesbian when im attracted to fem folks, i am she without the human societal expectations of that
and ive specified human societal expectations because im not human, and thats one of the reasons i dont want those expectations put on me. im not human and definitely not a human woman and i want neither of the expectations that go along with those labels. i want to be able to be free to express myself the way i want to without any limitations put on me
ive been restricted all my life, told how to dress and act, and im tired of it. i want the freedom to express myself, dress and act how i want, regardless of how i identify or what labels i use, who i associate myself with, or how im addressed
i am a dog and im neither boy or girl but still a boy in most circumstances, and i am pretty in all circumstances, thats all
ramble over :)
